Ember: Perimenopause Log

We do not collect personal data through Ember: Perimenopause Log. The app has no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no backend server that receives your information. There is no account to create with us, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contacts.

To do its job, Ember: Perimenopause Log may use the following on your device. In every case the information is processed locally and is not transmitted to us:

• Health data: the app reads and writes reproductive-health and symptom data (such as cycle, sleep, and symptoms) you choose to record. This data is processed on your device and is never sent to us.

Information stays on your device and is used only to provide the app's features for you — for example, to display your records, generate summaries and reminders, and power on-device AI features using Apple's on-device models. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than running the app for you.

• Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). We never see your payment details.
• Your in-app content is stored locally on your device, and — if you use iCloud — synced through your own private iCloud account, which only you can access. We have no access to it.

Ember: Perimenopause Log reads and writes reproductive-health and symptom data (such as cycle, sleep, and symptoms) you choose to record. Health and HealthKit data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or marketing, and it is never used for any purpose other than providing the features you ask for. It remains on your device under your control, and you can revoke the app's Health permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app or the Health app.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Because the app does not transmit your personal data to us, there is nothing for us to share.

Ember: Perimenopause Log is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal data, no such information is gathered from any user.

You are in control of your information at all times. You can edit or delete records inside the app, and you can permanently remove all locally stored data by deleting the app from your device. Where the app uses device permissions (such as Health, Photos, Location, or Microphone), you can grant or revoke each one in the iOS Settings app. If you use iCloud, you can manage or delete the app's iCloud data from your device's iCloud settings.

Keeping your data on your device — protected by your device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS data protection — is central to how Ember: Perimenopause Log is built. Any optional iCloud sync uses your own private, encrypted iCloud storage provided by Apple.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. If a future version of the app introduces any data collection, we will update this policy and the app's App Store privacy details before that change takes effect.
